We had a very eventful weekend. The county fair started and it's only a street over from our house. They have fireworks every Friday, so I was able to get some neat shots of the fireworks right over our backyard. After the fireworks show, I decided to practice taking some pictures of the moon so that I would be ready for the supermoon!! So the fireworks and the moon are from Friday night.
These two (above and below) are some of my favorite shots.
My dad thinks this one looks like a Super Nova!
Sadly, it was too windy to get a clear shot of the actual supermoon. But my husband and I went to the overpass to get some pictures of the cars driving by instead. In this shot, the thick streak is a semi-truck that passed by. I also love that there's a car or two changing lanes in the picture.
I’m so excited about this weekend because I'll be doing a photo shoot at my friend’s barn. She's a horseback riding instructor at Highland Stables. I went to the barn today to check it out. Horses are absolutely incredible animals. I had so much fun petting them, getting “hugs" from them, and snapping lots of pictures. I even got to spend some time with little baby goats!! They were so cute; like little puppies!! I had a blast hanging out. Can hardly wait for tomorrow’s shoot there!
Here are some pictures from today:
